I'll dominate 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming bout.

Former two-time unified boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Difference

As both boxers met for the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually happening.
